GUANGZHOU, China — A day after Juliana Brandy Logbo gave birth to twins this month through an emergency cesarean section in a Chinese hospital, she thought the worst was over. Then the demands for money began.

Ein chinesischer Demokratieaktivist Herr Dai Xindong ist in der Nacht der Peking-Zeitzone (am frühen Morgen der Berlin-Zeit) in Shanghai gestorben, er hat ab 1989 gegen die chinesische kommunistische Partei für Demokratie und Menschenrechte gekämpft.
