- 宪法由四个文件组成：
- 政府组织法。在经过全面的改革后于1975年生效
- 王室继承法

- 瑞典没有宪法法院
另：瑞典自1995年起为欧盟成员国
国家架构：
- 瑞典是一个非中央集权的单一制国家
- 有典型意义的是乡镇自制，总共290个乡镇，分别由各自的民选议会管理自己的事务
- 此外还有地区级别的自制，也是由民选的议会自己治理。其各自的地理管辖范围与瑞典的21个“辖区“相同，这21个“辖区”分别由中央政府委派的“省政府”行使职权
